I have worked in these schools as an independent consultant and have 100% proof that this decision was the best that this district made. Rocketship schools are the worst of the scum, they have so much autonomy given by the education charter school act that they are a business that fleeces the children and kids of the poorest of the poor. The cool aid they sell to parents is so toxic that these parents have no clue what’s going on, or are too uneducated and ignorant to care.
